As of November 2017, dismantling.
In November 2017, I visited the Stade nuclear power plant (KKS for short) for my master's thesis »Bis zur grünen Wiese«. At the time of my visit, the power plant was already in the middle of being dismantled.
My master's project shows photographs of the running nuclear power plant, through various dismantling phases, to final disposal and the green field.
All nuclear power plants still in operation in Germany were decommissioned on April 15, 2023.
