With goals and trumpets

I set off from Würzburg in the early hours of the morning to meet up with the Veitshöchheim Army Music Corps at the barracks. Together we take the bus to the Mercedes Benz Arena in Stuttgart, our destination. My job is to photograph the musicians throughout the day, from the preparations to the performance. And this performance is quite something, because the Army Music Corps will be playing the national anthems for the German and Norwegian soccer teams at the World Cup qualifier in Stuttgart.

The photographic documentation ranges from the final preparations in the bus of the Veitshöchheim Army Music Corps to the final meetings and rehearsals in the soccer stadium to the impressive performance on the evening of September 4, 2017 - the World Cup qualifier between Germany and Norway.
