The Grafenrheinfeld nuclear power plant (KKG for short) was taken off the grid in 2015. Following the shutdown, the so-called post-operational phase was initiated and dismantling began in 2018. From the start of general dismantling at KKG, this will take around ten to 15 years until conventional demolition can then take place over a period of around two years.

On March 16, 1945, the bombing raid by the British Royal Air Force completely destroyed and burned down most of Würzburg's old town. Thousands of people lost their lives. The city of that time was unrecognizable within a few minutes.

I have been accompanying the exhibitions at the Museum im Kulturspeicher as a photographer since 2021. These include a wide variety of works by numerous artists - from photographs and sculptures to paintings and media installations.

In December 2023, I was commissioned by JP Moin Marketing GmbH to take part in a two-day San Miguel Taste Tour for a reportage in Munich.

I have been exploring hidden places and undergrounds in Würzburg and the surrounding area since 2012. What could be more interesting than seeing what almost nobody else gets to see?

A documentary about the current visit to eight National Socialist memorial sites: Buchenwald, Dachau, Eckerwald, Ellrich-Juliushütte, Flossenbürg, Mittelbau-Dora, Ravensbrück and Sachsenhausen.

Never again.

In November 2020, I documented the wastewater treatment plant in Würzburg for the Main-Post daily newspaper. I gained an insight into the entire process of cleaning the water – from coarse to thorough.

In 2022, what is probably the best-known toy car celebrated its 50th birthday: the Bobby Car. For a photo report by the Main-Post newspaper, I was on site at the factory in January 2022 and followed production from start to finish.

In June 2021, I visited Büttnerei (barrel maker) Aßmann in Eußenheim as part of a photo report for the Main-Post daily newspaper. From sawing the wood to the finished barrel, I was able to follow the precise production of the wooden barrels.

The hall in Würzburg, which has been a listed building since 2003, was built in 1927/28 and is located on the »Alter Hafen« site. It has already served many purposes, including for livestock auctions, but also for events. 

As part of two reports for the Main-Post daily newspaper, I visited the Botanical Gardens of the city of Würzburg in 2018 and 2020. Here, the entire world of flora and fauna seems to be united in just one place and offers the public an enormous range of different plant species.

In September 2017, I was commissioned by the Main-Post newspaper to accompany the Army Music Corps of the German Armed Forces in Veitshöchheim - and on a not-so-usual date.

As part of a report for the Main-Post newspaper, I visited winegrower Stefan Bauer in Thüngersheim. During several appointments, he showed me the entire process in his one-man business: from the grape harvest to the bottling of the finished wine.

Photographs for the new website of the Regensburg structural engineering office Orthuber & Partner. The project was created in collaboration with the agency »klein,laut«, which was responsible for the corporate design.

In 2021, I accompanied Werner Kaiser, a retired employee of the University of Würzburg, for several months as he built one of his model airplanes. This allowed me to get to know the complex processes more closely and better understand the passion behind them.

Like many other villages, the municipality of Bundorf, located in the upper Haßberge mountains, has had to contend with major village decline. Only just under 900 people still live there (as of 2018) and it is one of the most sparsely populated communities in western Germany. A documentary about its scenery, the people and life in the countryside in general.
